EastEnders is heading toward another explosive secret, and Priya Nandra Hart could soon find herself trapped in a situation that threatens to destroy several lives at once. After months of secretly seeing Max Branning behind Cindy Beale’s back, Priya has made a discovery that could change everything. The biggest question now is whether she is pregnant—and, if she is, who is the father?
The latest episode left viewers with more questions than answers after Priya suddenly became sick during Cindy and Kim Fox’s joint hen party. What initially looked like an embarrassing moment quickly took on a much more serious meaning when Priya secretly disappeared into the Queen Vic toilets and took a pregnancy test.
As the familiar EastEnders “doof doof” played, the episode strongly hinted that the result could be positive.
That revelation would be disastrous for Priya because her relationship with Max has been kept hidden for months. Max is preparing to marry Cindy, while Priya has been caught between her feelings for him and her complicated relationship with Ravi Gulati. Wednesday’s episode began with Max already struggling to keep his secret under control. After spending the night with Priya, he slept through his alarm and woke to a string of missed calls from Cindy. Even more awkwardly, Cindy then asked Priya to help with the hen party arrangements.
Priya was forced to stand beside the woman whose wedding she was unknowingly helping prepare while carrying the guilt of her secret relationship with Cindy’s fiancé. The pressure became almost unbearable, and Priya eventually went to see Ravi.
Inside the boxing den, Ravi had a major surprise waiting for her. He got down on one knee and proposed, hoping that they could finally move their complicated relationship forward.
But instead of celebrating, Priya broke down.
Her emotional reaction immediately made Ravi suspicious. She could not give him the enthusiastic answer he wanted and instead told him that she needed time to think about his proposal. Ravi was visibly disappointed, while Priya was left struggling with feelings she could no longer ignore.
Soon afterward, Priya found Max and told him about Ravi’s proposal.
She also suggested that perhaps their affair needed to end.

That became increasingly difficult when Cindy encouraged Priya to have a tequila shot.
Priya initially seemed reluctant, but Cindy brushed aside her hesitation. Moments later, Priya suddenly became sick and vomited all over Cindy’s immaculate hen party outfit.
The incident was embarrassing enough, but viewers immediately began wondering whether it was actually the first obvious sign of pregnancy.
Later, Priya quietly slipped into the Queen Vic toilets and took the pregnancy test. Her nervous expression suggested that she already feared what the result might say.
And that is where the episode ended.

With Denise’s condition deteriorating, doctors eventually make the heartbreaking decision to place her into an induced coma.
Kim refuses to give up on her sister. She joins the desperate search for a donor and even helps organize a donor drive at the community centre. Then an unexpected discovery gives the family a completely new reason to hope.
While searching an ancestry website, Kim learns that Denise has a previously unknown half-brother named Darnell Larson Jr.
Suddenly, the stranger could potentially become the person who saves Denise’s life.
Kim immediately contacts Darnell, who agrees to meet her and Jack. At first, Darnell is fascinated by the revelation that he has relatives he never knew existed. He does not initially understand why Denise is missing from the meeting.
Then Kim and Jack reveal the devastating truth.
Denise is seriously ill.
Darnell is overwhelmed by the revelation. He has only just learned that Denise is his half-sister, and now he is being asked to consider whether he might be capable of saving her.
Despite the emotional shock, Darnell agrees to visit Denise in hospital with Kim and Jack. Unfortunately, the experience becomes too much for him.
The hospital environment triggers painful emotions connected to his past, and Darnell eventually leaves. His reaction worries Kim and Jack because they desperately need him to complete the necessary testing.
When Denise eventually wakes from her induced coma, the family experiences a brief moment of relief. But the doctors soon deliver more bad news: her chemotherapy is not working as effectively as hoped.
Denise remains frightened, although learning that she has a newly discovered half-brother gives her something positive to focus on.
Jack, meanwhile, cannot stop thinking about the possibility that Darnell could be Denise’s donor. His desperation grows stronger, but his determination may become a problem.
Darnell does not respond well to pressure. The harder Jack pushes, the more likely Darnell may be to withdraw.
That could bring another member of Darnell’s family into the crisis.
His daughter Grace is confident, fearless and fiercely protective of her father. While Darnell tends to retreat when situations become overwhelming, Grace is much more willing to confront people and demand answers.
As these two storylines develop, EastEnders is building toward several major emotional confrontations.
Priya could be facing a pregnancy that threatens to expose her affair with Max, while Denise’s family is desperately searching for the person who might save her life.

Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) made quite the discovery hours after ending her affair with Max Branning (Jake Wood) – and it may shed some light on one of the big flashforward mysteries.
The fan-favourite character, as viewers know, has been sleeping with Max, who is due to wed Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) in the coming weeks.
Cindy remains in the dark about lothario Max’s betrayal and roped Priya in to assist with her hen do.
Priya, meanwhile, was conflicted about her future as, feeling guilty over what they’ve done to Cindy was one thing but when ex Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) popped the question in a tearful moment, it left her certain that ending things with Max was the only logical conclusion.
Max was taken aback by her decision to put a stop to their dalliance but ultimately he realised it was for the best. While Priya weighed up if she truly wanted to marry Ravi, she headed to Cindy’s hen at The Vic – where things took an unexpected turn.
After feeling off all day, she threw up all over Cindy’s dress.
Later, we saw Priya sitting in the ladies loos with a pregnancy test in hand – and a shocked look on her face. She’s pregnant.
The question is: is the baby Max’s? If so, it would certainly add further fuel to the speculation that she is the pregnant woman in Max’s bed on New Year’s Day.
The BBC One soap, as fans will remember, aired a special flashforward episode in January, showcasing what New Year’s Day 2027 will look like on the Square.
On the day in question, Max is getting married to a mystery woman – but there is a pregnant woman sleeping in the bed beside him that’s not his bride-to-be.
With Priya now confirmed pregnant, will she prove to be the woman in question?
